Shocking!!!! Apprentice kills colleague in Ibadan

The Oyo State Police Command said it has averted another crisis in Ibadan following the death of an apprentice, identified as Kazeem Ola Mummy, who was killed last Saturday night.
Community Mirror gathered that fight broke out among some power generating set traders at the Ogunpa market following news of the death.
Eye witness report said the death was as a result of disagreement between Kazeem and a colleague, on the sharing of the day’s profit.
Sources said Kazeem and the suspect were to share the sum of N5, 000 paid by a customer they assisted in loading his diesel engine.
The duo were said to have exchanged harsh words that eventually resulted in fisticuff between them. Kazeem was reported to have suffered a deep cut after being hit on the neck with a sharp object and was rushed to Mobolaji Hospital and then to Ibadan Central Hospital, where he eventually died.
Following the development, some of his friends attacked the suspect’s boss and were allegedly accused of destroying goods in his shop and chasing customers away.
It was gathered that Kazeem has already been buried at Apata. When contacted, the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mrs. Olabisi Ilobanafor, said the suspect has been arrested while investigations have commenced.
According to her, youths in the market protested that the suspect should be released to them, saying the command could not allow them take laws into their hands, even as the situation is now under control.
