PDP crisis: At Last, Bamanga Tukur resigns

Breaking News from Abuja claims that embattled  PDP National Chairman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, has finally thrown in the towel.
Just yesterday, Tukur, during a press conference in Abuja, insisted that he was not caving in to pressures from within and outside the party to resign.
However, sources from the factionalised   National Working Committee of the party, disclosed this afternoon that the forced resignation was to prevent Tukur from being suspended from the party by the members of the NWC .
Meanwhile, jostling for a likely successor is said to have intensified .
